Not the result you want

Back to the hospital for the results from last week’s biopsy. The lump is small, but it is a breast cancer. Fortunately small, slow growing and very treatable. Operation to remove it is scheduled for 28/2. So lots of rearranging of other plans.

I’m feeling more frustrated about having to rearrange plans (after the last few years I was finally feeling that I could prioritise the things that I wanted to do) than worried about the diagnosis.

It was really chilly, so rather than a walk, we popped into Manchester for the afternoon. Lovely coffee and cake at “the house of books and friends “ on King Street. Then my mum wanted to see the war memorial at Manchester Victoria as she has just finished reading a series of books about a group of women volunteers there during WW2.
