The Spey….

opened for fishing today, so went along to the Spey Dam. The only fishers I saw were Goosanders and Goldeneye. It was ice covered. Tight lines! All along the wall overlooking the dam are bodies and remains of duck and water birds. Something uses it as an observation post and plucks and feeds here. I have seen White tailed sea eagles in the past, but could be Peregrines or Merlin. As I passed the crag, I saw a very proud looking nanny suckling a kid! Spring!
