Another day, another coffee lounge………

……….this morning where Stephen was waiting for me having dropped me off at the dentist earlier for my checkup. This one is in the local town, and the same chain as the one in our neighbourhood shopping area.
I always like their décor.
As it was lunchtime we each had a bite to eat. I had a tasty bacon sandwich and he had a breakfast muffin with sausage and egg.
What a cold, raw, chilly, drizzly day.
It has hardly become daylight by 16:00h as I write this account,
I popped round next door to see our elderly neighbour, Rose, in her 90’s now. Her husband died last year.
Her daughter was there for the afternoon, her son having been there for the morning. They are really acting as her carers.
Always a good conversation ensues. The subjects being how history was originally taught to us in school, as to how it is now. Her daughter goes to the U3A meetings and enjoys local history alongside our own country’s history, Recently she was fascinated by the fact that we were ruled by a Dane at one time, King Canute, in 1016!
Rose herself, is now learning how to play the viola. Her brother in law sent it for her. He’s in his 80’s.
She also plays a violin and piano.
When I got back I had several messages from the hospital booking me in for Pre-Op appointments, on various days,
It really is déjà vu!
I’ll take a look at your blips now, before our dinner this evening,
Thankyou for all your good wishes for my second operation. Blip is such a big family.
I now am unable to escape the rantings of he (who will not be named,) which have got more and more bizarre and downright dangerous.
I hope the Ceasefire in Gaza will hold as he is doing his level best to destabilise it!
