Man Get Out

The Mathew Street Festival had become a problem child that was unruly and very expensive to run. Good news, then, that it was quickly and decisively despatched to be replaced with the Liverpool International Music Festival - a month long series of music events which will lead up to a big, but better controlled, party at the Bank Holiday weekend. Pity that it rained this afternoon in Sefton Park as a number of local bands took to the bandstand, but we went along anyway and watched Man Get Out do their thing as we sat under an umbrella drinking tea from the cafe. Splendid.
