In The City

Mrs C is in the big city today - an exhibition at the Royal Academy. As I was up early to take her to the station, I thought I’d make the most of a day to myself and head down to Chester. Check on mum and see my sisters as well as fit in a little bit of retail therapy.
Mum was ok, but still not really aware of what goes on around her. Only a 50% success rate on sister visiting (one had gone out) and zero success in finding what I wanted in the shops. I like to try and support physical shops wherever possible, but I think I’m going to be forced online to get what I want in this instance.
On the plus side, I actually had a trouble free trip both ways on the M6. Every cloud and all that…
