D had the ring light set up to take photos of some of the artworks he took to yesterday's meeting. When he had finished, I thought I would experiment with using it to photograph the amaryllis, which has flowered for the second time. I'm really pleased with the results - I should use the light more, especially in winter.

I've had a quieter day today - I set about reorganising the wood shed so we can fit in the split oak wood which I keep ferrying to it. (I hope all this work is going to give me some nice toned arms and shoulders). I took Jess on a walk, and did quite a bit of knitting (almost finished glove no2). It has been good to be able to get on with these projects before I go back to work next week :-)
