Reading the Winter Away!

I have turned back to reading real books, not just on line ones. These are four books I bought recently in a real bookshop!  Normal Women by Philippa Gregory is an amazing book of research into the lives of women from 1066.  Not to be read as a novel but dipped into.  Judy Dench's book takes the reader through her acting career on and backstage. It's funny and
revealing.  Ann Patchett is one of my favourite novelists.  And The Archers Unseen goes back to the years of Dan and Doris Archer.  For Archers' listeners is a treat.  So that is what has kept me sane this winter
