Overcast Houton (Day 3564)

After a wander up the hill with Sigyn, I made my way to Orphir to change taps in a kitchen and utility room. With that done I headed back home, stopping briefly on the way to snap a shot of the work boat coming in to Houton from Flotta.
I was soon off out again with Sigyn, and despite the dark skies it didn't rain though it felt a lot colder than yesterday.
After lunch I emptied my van and headed to town to collect another pallet of pellets for the boiler. On the way back a building firm's van heading the other direction lost a plastic drum off the back. Although I braked very heavily, I hit the drum. Further along the road there were more containers and other stuff which had presumably fallen off the same vehicle. I was fairly annoyed and called the company to make my feelings known. Thankfully the manager took it very seriously and will find out who the driver was and make sure it never happens again.
When I opened the van to unload the pellets I was surprised to see that the stack of bags had moved forward on the pallet by a couple of feet.
Sigyn and I await the return of my beautiful wife from another trip overseas.
