It lives!

Finally the Thing is complete, and motorized.  

Not the world's most reliable machine as occasionally it jams when too many balls gather in the wrong place, but it's fun to watch.

Whilst the design would justify a tweak here and there, I'm still seriously impressed with the precision of laser cutting of plywood.

Otherwise, a typical Monday evening.  Karate, meal, and herding some cats.
