A view from St Swithin

Forvie

Lovely afternoon (again) so went for walk at the Forvie Nature reserve at Newburgh about 20 mins from Aberdeen. This is a RSPB reserve and important areas for breeding colonies of Terns. A large portion of the dunes were fenced off ( thus the red flags in the blip) to allow the Terns to breed in peace I suppose. Nice walk and also visited the old ruined Forvie village which is buried in the sand dunes on the reserve. Made a nice change from our usual gander up and down the beach boulevard.
