They didn't want us to leave
Today was quite an adventure.
Lloyd and I were up at 5am to catch the 6:30am ferry from Yarmouth, across to attend a Mazda rally and "Simply Japanese" car show at Beaulieu.
There were so many candidates as photos for today's blip, but I couldn't help but post this state of affairs we faced as we were leaving to come home.
Tailbacks trailed long around the outskirts of The New Forest due to these playful (and hungry) chaps.
For those of you who don't know about the freedom of The New Forest, here's a quick description:
"The New Forest is an area of southern England which includes one of the largest remaining tracts of unenclosed pasture land, heathland and forest in the heavily-populated south east of England."
So basically you are bound to come nose to nose with a horse or a cow at some point in passing through.
We are both very sleepy now we are home, but nothing remedies that better than a stodgy supper and a few episodes of Luther.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
