More!

Snow, that is. Not a big accumulation, but a nice inch or so. It was good not to have to venture out. Someone posted that the roads were slick leaving the hospital. Since we were supposed to be away this week, it has turned into a staycation for both of us. The cats are delighted, and we're pretty pleased too.

Cooked a couple small meals, did a little cleaning and admin, fed the birds, stayed in touch with people, not much else. Last night we called stepdad Dave at the hospital in Bellevue (near Seattle) and sang happy birthday. The nurses and techs had made a card and also sung to him. Not the party that had been planned, but good spirited anyway.
