Penalty shootout

What a night! It was freezing and a very long match with extra minutes and penalties but we had a grand time!

Managing to get to the end of extra time level with Notts Forest with just 10 men on the pitch was an epic performance. It wasn’t to be with us losing out on penalties but we gave them a big scare!

In the last few minutes of extra time both teams had chances and it was nail biting stuff!

Forest started without some of their main players but had to bring them on eventually to get the job done.

That gave us a comedy moment of our tiny Ryan Woods trying to mark the huge Chris Wood.

It was fun to see Roy Keane and Ian Wright pitch side too - they seemed to be enjoying themselves on commentary duty.

Let’s hope that great performance spurs Exeter on for some much needed wins in the league!
