Discharge Lounge

My 'adventures' of yesterday did not end until early evening when I was transferred to the 'Discharge Lounge' of Huddersfield Hospital.  The lovely armchairs were absolute bliss after 6 hours of sitting about in a chair with very little comfort built in. Unfortunately I still had a two hour wait for my hospital transport to arrive - but I did so in comfort (and managed a nap).  You will note the lounge is empty (apart from me and a couple of nurses) because of the lateness of the hour (approaching 8.30pm) - but it meant I was well looked after.  It was a long day and I have to report that I fell asleep in my chair very soon after getting back home....
