The old Craig leith train station, Edinburgh

Had a great day out with my wife! Cycled from dalgety bay to the fringe festival on the royal mile in Edinburgh. We passed the fife rottweiller rescue association on the forth road bridge bridge, they had about 40 rotties Out for a walk ( and a chihuahua) And of course there were the obligatory people crossing dressed as clowns for charity. Got to the fringe on royal mile. Saw a guy called Tom Ward playing classical guitar. Seriously good. Obviously, the freaks were out too. it's spot the normal person during the festival.

We had left our bikes in the grass market. . Well padlocked. We had infact bought a new lock today.

Also had a cheap and nasty one that we used. So. We got back to the bikes. Some smart arse had tried to snap the cheap lock. Couldn't open it. And then had noticed the new one! Lock was wrecked and would not open. . So I had to borrow some wire cutters from a mate who's the manager in the blue blazer, just 5 mins walk from grass market.

Tried to look casual cutting a bike lock in a busy bit of town!! No one challenged me! So off we went back home. Stopping off at the blue blazer for a pint!
