We will be talking about our families in class tonight which means that  I need to practice saying "teaghlach"  It is one of these words where I have internalised the wrong pronunciation (another being pàipear which I pronounce as if it were the French papier). The only way I've found to breaking the pattern is to listen to correct pronouncation over and over again and repeating it.   Both the Learn Gaelic dictionary and Ceitidh (my text to speech reader) is helpful for this.

I slept in again this morning and gave my yoga class a miss and caught up with a few things.  I then took part in my Conversation Class and after that I went round to visit KL who I hadn't seen for a while and who had (unknown to me) been in hospital. She was on good form and it always interesting chatting to her. I must make more of an effort to see her more often.
