A Quilt Giveaway Day

We drove to a town 2 hours away to participate in a special day for some people who have just relocated here in NC from Myanmar, formerly Burma. They have all been vetted and entered legally, they were set up with apartments and all the accouterments of living. My group Quilts 2 Heal gave quilts to all members of the family. The man in Extra has 6 children and they each got their own.  The man on the left is the husband of the woman on the right in the main photo and he is a huge help to the group even though he can't sew. Lots of smiling faces, even with a language barrier.
