Prestatyn
WEDNESDAY
I started the day with an 11 mile drive over to Prestatyn. After yesterday's issue the car is now driving perfectly again.
A quick stop en route for a photo of the waterfall in Dyserth (see extra) and then on to Prestatyn for breakfast at the M&S café and some shopping in the Food Hall there.
Then a 6 km walk along the promenade and beach. The high tide was receding, but waves were still lapping at the lower promenade in places and there wasn't much beach to walk on. I walked all the way to the Rhyl boundary.
In the afternoon, I took a walk around the village and up to the church. Later, Pat (the electrician) came over to scope out the work for the new kitchen. We also discussed repositioning a few bits of the intruder alarm and a new consumer unit. A lot to think about but it’s all coming together.
Step count for the day is now just shy of 15,000.
