The Horn
Today has quite simply been one of those days. We planned an early start to head over to make what ultimately ended up being an aborted attempt to climb Ben Lomond. Whatever we did, and for no particular reason, we couldn't seem to get out of the house. When we finally did, much later than planned, we hadn't even managed breakfast.
The arguably unfortunately titled Horn is a cafe on the side of the A90 to Perth. I pass it every day on my way to work but had never been inside. There's a yard selling caravans next door but not much else.
By sheer coincidence we arrived at half 8, the exact time of opening. We weren't alone, and a steady stream of people entered behind us. When the bacon roll arrived I understood why.
