Boats in the estuary

Another very cold day with glimpses of the sun trying to break through.  I went into Exmouth this morning for a few items and then a stroll around the marina area.  As wide on Wednesday theme is transport I thought I would use the boats as a form of transport.  Not a good form of transport though as you would need to wait for the tide to come in first.

Back home to do various things including going back to the supermarket to change an item.  Our grandson will soon be 5 and I am making the birthday cake.  I decided that using a tub of softer icing will be easier than rolling out a block of it.  Easier to colour as well.  He is having a sonic the hedgehog themed cake.  My daughter has bought the characters to put on the top.  I will be making it tomorrow.
