Hot Bike Ride

Because all the local streets are closed I decided to get a photo on the way home from Prime Timers!  They were closed when I was going there, and open when I came home!!  So plan 'A; blip is out the window!  I Drove to the lake and hoped something would happen, and hey presto this guy cycled past.  That will have to do I thought!!  Tomorrow I hope to get a 'road closed' sign.  We'll see.  It's pretty hot, +28C.

 Prime Timers had a very interesting speaker, he is a local historian.  I even purchased one of the books he had for sale.  Because I have lived in Wanaka for a long time, (30 years),  I found the history very interesting.  Our history is old, 1860's, but not nearly as old as some of the 
European history, which dates back centuries.
