Rainy and . . .

………………………….. cloudy over the hills between Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers on my way home today. The mountains and trees all looked mysterious through the clouds, quite different from the sunny days we’ve had.

I managed to leave by 7:30am and had a good run back home; about 530kms. Lots of tourist traffic and many holdups for roadworks, but it didn’t spoil the wonderful scenery. What a wonderful few days I’ve had away!

I’ve put a photo into Extras of the reflections in the river outside the Lake Moeraki Wilderness Lodge, from yesterday morning. It was so still - for a river!
