MMC2025 :: Day 13 :: Blip Meet

Mono Month Challenge 2025

Today I had a Blip Meet with Karen (Gingernan) who made the trip into the city to have a coffee and chat. We have much in common so we had a great chinwag and will meet up again when we return to Christchurch at the end of our trip. My Main Blip was taken from the roof garden of the Tūranga (library) overlooking the Cathedral. 

I wasn't sure what to do for a postcard for you all today. After the Blip Meet we rode the trams again and then explored along Worcester Blvd where there are a number of art centres and craft shops. We concentrated on new locations before walking back into the city centre.

Other than that it did seem to be a day of eating and drinking but I will spare you those photos...

I've selected a few street scenes. There is a young vibe to the city, definitely a coffee culture. Electric sit-on 3 wheeled scooters and stand on scooters whiz around everywhere. I don't think I will be trying them!
