Transports of Delight
It’s a bit like Groundhog Day; builders back, more noise and dust, and another visit to The Royal in Liverpool. Today it’s more pre-op stuff - a spirometry test and an echocardiogram. Yes, it would have made sense to have everything done yesterday, but there were no echocardiogram appointments available.
Still, it does mean we stop at Cheshire Oaks on the return journey - not a pleasure in itself, but we’re eating in Mowgli which is always a pleasure. And I really feel G deserves a treat after driving me to Liverpool two days running.
My blip today is taken just outside the restaurant where there’s a very exciting children’s playground - almost deserted by 7.30 on a very cold February evening. I’m interpreting the Wide Wednesday Transport theme ‘creatively’ in seeing this fun facility as Transports of Delight! Thanks to Bobsblips for hosting.
