Breakfast spot

This was obviously today's preferred breakfast spot on the river for the various birds. I was so focused on trying to get the great white and little egrets in the same shot, that at first I didn't notice the heron lurking in the undergrowth. Taken with the field of 100 swans, the swans on the river, and  the muntjac stood looking at me, it was a more successful blip outing than many recent days.
