The Annavation Award

I was the very proud winner of this award, for the last Leeds Writers Circle Short Story Competition. It's named in honour of Anna Sutcliffe, a longstanding member of the Circle, who sadly died in 2021, and presented at the discretion of the judge for originality and innovation. It's always a massive confidence boost when one's writing is acknowledged in this kind of way. I needed this!

I thought I'd better photograph it because I'm going to have to return it soon. And I was struggling to think what else I could post on another gloomy day of weather, full of meetings.
