The Taff

Midday I arrived at my dads house in Penarth (South Wales UK) having driven a good hour. Although we phone every night, or video-call, I like to meet up at least a couple of times a month.

We went to the iconic Cardiff cafe, The Black & White, on Penarth Road and I enjoyed a cooked breakfast (I skipped breakfast at home) and dad had a big beef curry half and half on top of a breakfast he had earlier!  We had  'scuffle' at the till with me trying to stop him paying (again). Last time he threw the money in the car as I drove off from hos house!  He's amazing for 92 - still driving, cooking, gardening, and on social media. I could have many more years of trying to pay!

On the way home, I stopped just off Penarth Road and took the aerial photo' of The Millennium Stadium on the River Taff, with the new development on The Old Brains Brewery Site.
