Ludisia bicolor , the Jewel Orchid

Finally, my new orchid has come into flower, just in time for us to go away. The flowers are very subtle! I think they will be good when they are all open and there’s lots of flower spikes to come. The leaves are very striking though. It’s a terrestrial orchid so grows in the soil, not on a branch like tropical ones. From south east Asia.
