Waiting . . . .

I had an audiology appointment at the hospital this morning but was finished in time to see John before he was taken to the care home that is to be his new home.  

He knew he was going somewhere but wasn't sure where, why or for how long. He was equally keen to know when he was going to get another cup of coffee!
 
In the hospital carpark I met a friend from choir, and her dog Runa, waiting for her husband. What a lovely dog! She kept  giving me her toy and a paw and wanting cuddles! But, all the time keeping an eye on the door her 'dad' had gone through.....

I hope John copes well with the move and settles in smoothly. I'll be over to see him tomorrow.
