A day of two halves!

Today we went across to Cross Lanes at Barnard Castle to meet up with Barry's sister and BIL. They are up from Gloucestershire, spending a few days with Barry's mum. It takes us about an hour to drive over to meet up for lunch. We had a super lunch, three of us are vegetarians and there is always something nice to choose there. I had a butterbean burger with chips and coleslaw, in extra. It was delicious.
Reg was pleased to see us when we got back. We went out into the garden as the sun was shining, unlike the snow fall when we set off this morning!
Some cheese and apple for tea as I'd eaten such a large lunch despite having given the bun from my burger to Barry.
Mum was quite jolly this evening which was a nice surprise and good to hear.
