What else has Dick Van Dyke been in?

Nat and I had an impromptu festival day today.

We headed into town to collect tickets for the shows we've got on next week and after a wine stop we decided to head the the pleasance to see what was on.

After much deliberation and input for the various people handing out flyers we decided to go and see Jay Forman (pictured). We'd see him support Dave Gorman a few years ago and like his original brand of occasionally dark musical comedy.

Sadly we didn't enjoy him quite as much this time and can only give him a mediocre two and a half stars.

This was not our only show tonight, we had also booked to go and see Showstoppers, an improvised musical comedy show where everything is based around audience suggestions. It was very enjoyable and would highly recommend it, a solid four stars. It would be interesting to see them again to see how different the show can be.

On a side note, during the fringe it's like shooting fish in a barrel when it comes to celeb spotting. We managed to see Phill Jupitus, Tim Vine, Greg Proops and the lesser spotted Tom Baker... Nice.
