Cactus blooms

I still have blooms on my cacti! I’m loving it too. The colour it adds to my kitchen is great.

Today I saw the obituary for my friend Margie and that her funeral will be Monday. ( have put picture of Margie in extras) The women at church always organize putting together a meal for the family after the services and I’ve let Pam know that I’m in. Pam has given me my assignment and I’ve been to the grocery store and gotten what I need to make it.

Margie’s granddaughter, Rebecca, just called Kent a short while ago and has asked him to play the organ at the service.

Such small things we can do for someone who gave so much.

Went next door and spoke to Runyon for a bit. His house is sold and he is packing up and moving things out. After almost 30 years, I’m sure going to miss him as my neighbour.

He has given me his huge cement lion and Kent has put it by our front door. It’ll call it Runyon I think :) He needs to be wire brushed and a new coat of paint but I’ll need the rain to stop before I tackle that.

An emotional couple of days.
