Rural Wisconsin

Tuesday
After ten days up in Wisconsin with Laura and Liam, joined by Jen and Chelsea for the last 4 days, today was time to head home. We had said our farewells to Laura, Jen and Chelsea last night, as Laura was taking them up to Appleton airport for their return flights. They were going to have breakfast out at a coffee shop near the airport, so we had breakfast out locally before starting our drive home. It was a sunny but frigid morning. We had a good drive overall, the temperatures warming as we drove south, but unfortunately losing the sun in the process. We didn’t stop to eat until we were just north of Indianapolis, for an early dinner. We ran into some snow for about the last 45 minutes of our journey, but it was very fine and initially not really sticking to the roads, so didn’t cause us any problem. We arrived home to a warm house, having been able to adjust the temperature from our phone.
