Swansea

Today, I had to undertake the arduous journey to Swansea - we had chosen to spread Dad's ashes in The Gower, so my brother and his family, my family and I and Mum alll travelled down.

It took 6 long hours from London - we basically queued in traffic from Bristol to Cardiff. We them to subjected to the whims of my sister -in-law as soon as we arrived but I will leave that there!!

We stayed in a part of Swansea that was traditionally very industrial - it is now undergoing regeneration and a plethora of bars, restaurants and apartments have sprung up.

I still like the industrial feel and knowing that the beautiful Gower is just round the corner ...
