The only picture taken today
Hubby finished another puzzle and each one is a little victory over his own desire to be impatient, to give up early only to then let himself talked into not to give up. And each time when he finishes a puzzle he is proud. I am honestly proud of him too, I know that he feels his limitations, I can discern quicker and more easily which shape is needed where.
He also drove us home from Eugene when I could not drive after a little surgery. It is hard on him to drive for an hour fully concentrated , even when it is a ‚straight shot‘ on 126 where the road only has two lanes. I am grateful that he was able to do this, so far no one has taken his licence away.
Meanwhile, today, our contractor friend started to empty the shed. He has changed his schedule for the renewal of the roof and our house looks incredibly cramped now . It shows all the parts of all my hobbies, that I after our move in September just had dumped in the shed. Sewing, painting, fabrics, canvasses and lots of artworks. All that mixed with a whole workbench with tools and hundreds of tiny pieces.
With some help I reduced the workbench „stuff“ by 35%.
Not to forget the garden tools and seeds.
