A funny thing happened ...

On the way to the airport! All going smoothly until—oh wait—someone (naming no names, but it wasn’t me) left their brand-new phone on the bus. Cue panic. Thanks to the magic of Live 360°, we got to watch it enjoy a solo adventure into Faro town, eventually settling in at the bus station like it was on a little holiday of its own.

A very helpful lady at the tourist information office pointed us in the right direction, and after a rushed taxi ride through traffic—led by a very invested taxi driver —we finally got it back. Relief all around, including from the taxi driver, who seemed almost as chuffed as we were.

Somehow, we still made the flight, which was so empty we ended up with a whole row to ourselves. Landed back home, crawled into bed at 1am… only to be rudely awakened by a 6am work alarm.

One day, we’ll grow up and stop living like reckless teenagers. But today was not that day. I need a nap.
