Valentine’s Day

We had a very early start in our household… I hit the sack before nine and had a great sleep, but then I woke up around four. Milo was bustling around in the kitchen, preparing for a long trip. He was driving to Nottingham to surprise Liv for Valentine’s Day and leaving at 4:30 a.m. to beat the M25 traffic and meet her for breakfast. Raff had been awake for most of the night and appeared in the kitchen to make porridge before going to bed. Finally, Vanessa woke with all the clattering about and required tea. 

Milo allowed me to take a picture as he set off into the night, but with the admonition that I must not take too long. He’s right, of course; I do have form in this regard… but today, we had the photography done in less than ten seconds.
