Once, when I worked somewhere else,my work load was variable. Sometimes it was 9-4.30, but other times, when we had a proposal or tender to submit,it was 9 - 7.40am.


It didn't happen that often, sometimes it happened twice in one month. But everyone muddled in and it was always great fun, and then once it was submitted, we would all CHEER loudly. and have coffee.

Once after a particularly stressful couple of months my boss said by way of recompense, that myself and my better half should go out for a meal. No expenses spared, and he would cover it.

So we went to the Witchery in Edinburgh,
