It had to be...

...red roses, given today's date.  Quite handy it being 'Flower Friday' too.
My lovely M sneaked out yesterday to buy me some red roses.  He hid them in the boot of the car.  I even went out in the car yesterday afternoon but fortunately I didn't use the boot so I didn't discover them a day too early.

Another very cold (and so far) gloomy day.  We walked into town for a coffee at Folly's tea room to warm ourselves up. They had thoughtfully put a vase of flowers on each table which included some pretty red tulips to celebrate the day.

I'm off for a walk this afternoon, so I'll be putting on all my warmest walking clothes and boots.
