Japan - Day Six

Rather than always depending on air conditioning, the Japanese people make use of other senses, including sound to provide relief from the summer heat. From what I understand, this might include the use of tinkling bells or other sounds of nature

This is a live cicada in a plastic cage, not an uncommon sight. Apparently, the music of cicadas is greatly appreciated.

To my mind, this is pure poetry.
