Out in the garden with the Lensbaby, doing some soft-focus experiments. I hope this is a sign that my head cold is beginning to wear off, and some energy is returning. Meanwhile Richard has gone to pick Eben and Luca up from school, and they'll be with us for tea.
I've glanced at the reports from this week's Munich conference about JD Vance's speech, which continues this week's news themes... whipping up anti-migrant sentiment; taking an Orwellian 'Ministry of Truth' approach to language (Vance, lecturing others about democracy, while Musk tramples on the US constitution?) For the moment European leaders - and our own PM - are making strong statements in defence of Ukraine. I hope they'll be able to back those up in practice.
