Valentine Flowers
What a surprise this morning. It was Tony's turn for breakfast in bed so I took him up his tray with his Valentine Card and he directed me to look in the drawer under the bed. There was this large box of Lego! We have both rediscovered Lego since Euan showed interest in it, so now I have an enjoyable evening to look forward to.
Friend Angela and I had our early morning fitness session then it was cuppa time when I returned home. It was bitterly cold out so I was very glad to get back into the warm house. The sun shone for a couple of hours in the afternoon so I was glad to empty the wash basket and then I popped up to catch up on our elderly neighbour. She is understandably very sore still from her fall and quite confused, so I had a quick chat with her daughter on my return who is going to try and secure a GP appointment for her.
I also dropped down to the Post Office to put a birthday card in the post and pick up some choccy and fruit teacakes for the evening and before the temperature dropped too far, I filled up the feeders and cleaned the birdbath. The list of jobs was completed by preparing for the arrival of our Oxford family later tomorrow.
And now I can look forward to opening the box!
