An action packed day
Quilting group meets for 2.5 hrs once a month and is thoroughly enjoyed. I started the machine quilting of my Japanese creation, which I think will be a bit of a challenge.
B took me and my gear along to the parish hall, dropped me off, then collected Olive and took her home. He was back to collect me before my time was up as he had a dental appointment in town.
We called into home to leave my sewing machine, as I couldn’t bear to leave it in the car at the car park in case it got pinched. I’m not very trusting.
We did the dental appointment, then Tesco’s shopping before home via R & S’s to feed the boys. It was almost four o’clock before I got a chance to have a rest, which was sorely needed as I was exhausted.
S picked us up to go out for dinner at a steakhouse in town. A first time visit to a quirky converted bank, more about that later. We had planned to go last night but couldn’t get a reservation.
It was good to get dressed up to go out, but it’s ages since I wore high heels. I’m going to need a bit more practice.
