Let the theatre come to me!

We are lucky to have a beautiful independent cinema close to where I live. It's staffed mainly by volunteers with a passion for film. As the curtain tell you it's been going since 1939 and there's an organ at the front which you may have spotted. Unfortunately it isn't working at the moment but they're hoping to get it fixed - the guy introducing the film and the programme for the next few month told us it hasn't worked for 5 Prime ministers, but actually I don't suppose that is that long really! 
 I went along with my husband and daughter to see the National Theatre's 'Macbeth' with the gorgeous David Tennant. I really enjoyed the production and it was so lovely to just pop down the road to see it for the grand total of £12 I think. A great night
