Au Revoir to the Mountains …

… for a few days while I go to visit my sister and her husband in the UK. I can’t believe that I haven’t been back “home” since Mum’s funeral 5 years ago. I used to go 3 or 4 times a year when she was alive. Gillian and I talk on a weekly basis thanks to WhatsApp. But there has been a huge reduction of flights to Newcastle and I just don’t want to drive in the UK any more, it’s too stressful!

– La Dent Jaune (3’186 m) – L’Éperon (3’114 m) - La Cathédrale (3’160 m) -La Forteresse (3’164 m) in the evening light on the residual clouds.
