I think... no...I know... this has been one of the best Birthdays I've had, in a very long time.
I was celebrated by my coworkers already in the morning when I arrived, and they were saying Happy Birthday to me. :) My back was killing me, so I told my boss I had to take a break from the storage room at least for today. We'll regroup on Monday, and if my back's still killing me, I can take it easier in there. Fortunately, one coworker who'd been working with me in there, came and we talked about what I'd done and what was left. I also picked up a winter hat, with a logo on, to wear at work when I'm outside.
Then a coworker and I started to move large sacks with saw dust in. I had to move a large one and I hugged it to get a good grip. When I did that, I got covered with saw dust that flew out from a hole. I got so surprised that I let it go, and had to do it all over again, laughing and dusting myself off afterwards.
The Park personell were standing in the shop when I got back from putting away the cart I'd used, and I got hugs and Happy Birthday from both of them. :)
My coworker whom I asked to help out with the cakes came and we went over to the kitchen area, giggling as we walked. She'd read in our coworker group chat that I'd coloured my hair and she thought What are you doing at this time of the night! So we started laughing and I told her I wanted to but then told myself it was too late, then did it anyway. The door was chivalrously opened to us, by one of the Park personell, so we could just glide inside and start preparing. We had laughs and giggles just the two of us and then one of the Park personell started to joke with one of my supervisors and we just laughed at his craziness.
When the cakes were ready, the Park personell were the ones first to get a piece each, and when they'd sat down I couldn't help but show my supervisor the photo of my training sword. He, I think, was one of the few who hadn't seen it, and then I showed it to the Park personell too. One of them started joking with me that I'd be very alone in the bus if I took my sword with me. He was killing it with jokes today, :D and I told him what my cousin (the retired detective) had said and that, he thought was really funny. He also wanted me to make a movie while I was training with my sword, but learned that I would show some moves at work, which he really wants to see. So, the crowd is getting bigger... :D I think I got at least 10 years more to live while being in that kitchen and laughing so much!
Then we had cake in the greenhouse and all the coworkers loved the cakes, which made me happy. They sang to me also and I'm not used to be at the center of attention this way, so I was a bit flustered.
After our 'fika', we started to prepare for brining the last of the tulip crates (seen in the photo), and I had to stop the Park personell from heading off, to ask them if I could move a ladder that was in the way. I was told I could move whatever I liked, even bring out the tables... yea, not possible to bring those huge things out, but he was all jokes again.
Then we started to work. A coworker and I brought in half of the crates left outside. We took turns pushing this large yellow cart and then one of us went inside the greenhouse while the other one gathered strength and speed to push the cart up the ramp, and the other one of us helped out to catch it and give extra help o bring it inside. Then we drove the cart inide to the right table and lifted the crates one by one onto the table. After two cart runs, we took a break. Then two more and a break, and then the last one. I now have a massive ache in my upper body... A good ache, that reminds me of the hard work I've done today. :)
I hope I can get out of bed tomorrow, because I'm visiting an 'open house' for the Uppsala Historical Fencing school, to learn more about sword fighting.
