... .....with the hole!

It has been a cold but sunny (at times) day today.  I was up and out early down to the town centre, had some banking and some shopping to do, then met up with Maeve for lunch and chat.  We had rather a big lunch, and so I won't need anything else today, although Bob will expect his usual meal.

We headed afterwards to see Pat at her care home, only to find that she was in bed.  We thought at first she was unwell, but it turned out that she had requested a long lie as she had a wakeful night.  Anyhow, the care staff got her up and ready while we sat in the lounge, and then we had a cheerful hour with her.  Although she cannot talk well and we cannot hear what she tried to say, we keep the conversation going between us and she seems happy to hear our tales.  And I had some photographs to show her which she rather enjoyed.

No roses for Valentines Day came my way today, but I gave Bob the gift of some polo mints!!!!
