A day in Oban
an early start on a bright, very cold morning. Fortunately the Isle of Arran ferry was taking us over to Oban which means a bacon and egg roll and hot chocolate could be had for breakfast. We didn’t have a lot to do, all shopping done a few days ago, the appointment was productive, and back to the ferry terminal with time to spare.
When wandering around M and S food store, it was very cold outside, I spotted these small hearts, perhaps we should have bought red roses, I think age has made us wise and too cynical. Shame really, I remember the first red roses John gave me, 55 years ago, apparently I said, oh you shouldn’t have, and not seen one since.
