MMC25: Day 14

A dark and windy day  Hopefully, we'll get some rain this evening, but I won't hold my breath.  We had a pizza party for someone in the Singles club.  That was nice and I ate way too much.  It was her birthday and she paid for pizza and desserts for all eleven of us. When I came home, an enormous truck was blocking my driveway.  The town-home I'm attached to has new owners, two really nice guys, and their furniture was being delivered. I went over to see their new furniture and stayed for a chat.  Their stuff is beautiful.  My stuff is over 20 years old and doesn't match. A brand new living room would be amazing. Not gonna happen.  

In other news...My new water softener was installed a couple of days ago and I immediately noticed a change in the water.  It even took away the chlorine taste from the bathroom faucets! I'm happy. Now, please no more big expenses.
