Sand Surfing

Well we managed to go out and do the weekly shop nice and early for a change and on the way back stopped off at Troon Barassie Beach for a quick photo opportunity.

Not as busy as we had thought it might be but still a fair bit going on. A couple of guys with surf kites, a few families playing and some folk on a small sailing dingy.

This guy caught our eye though as he whizzed up and down the beach on his surf buggy. At times it moved fairly quickly and he was able to get it up on two wheels a few times. He certainly looked like he was having a great time and he seemed quite happy to run close to us. Must have noticed the cameras.

In the background you can see the Yue Dian 102, a 254mtr bulk carrier from the People’s Republic of China. Possibly heading for a port on the Clyde, her last known port was Murmansk, Russia.

More gardening after dinner, still trying to keep up with the maintenance whilst working on getting the new area ready as well.
